Art Peterson

Art was raised in Vancouver, graduated from UBC as a Microbiologist and retired to the Sunshine Coast in 2001 after a 38 year career in manufacturing, research and development, and quality assurance with a Montreal-based multinational firm in the consumer goods sector. He enjoyed the opportunity to live and work in large and small towns in BC, Quebec, Ontario, and Manitoba, and was always involved in community activities that come with a growing family. He represented his company in trade and industry associations, worked with various government departments on joint initiatives, and gained international experience working with affiliates in Europe, Latin America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. He now lives in Roberts Creek and enjoys his family, travel, outdoor activities, music and history.
