CFDC Annual General Meeting

On September 17, 2003, Community Futures Development Corporation of the Sunshine Coast held its annual general meeting. As with every year, we featured clients participating in our programs: Self Employment, Loans and new this year our CrossRoads Program for youth ages (16-29).

A new feature this year was an awards ceremony to recognize significant volunteer efforts in our communities. Awards were given to:

Gerry Tretick from the Gibsons Economic Development Partnership
Larry Curtiss from the Pender Harbour Growth & Development Partnership Chris McNaughton from the Sechelt Economic Development Partnership Don Basham for the Sunshine Coast Community Economic Development Partnership.

The accomplishments of these groups are a testament to what we all can do in our communities when we are motivated, committed and working together. Community Futures would like to thank everyone who attended our AGM. Join us again next year; it's always informative and motivational.
