A Self-Employment Program for Persons with Disabilities
We will work with you to assess whether self-employment is the right option for you. We will provide assistance with business planning, business skills training and support you through your first 12 months of business operation.
You are Eligible if...
- You are someone designated by the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance
as a person with Persistent, Multiple Barriers to Employment (PPMB)
- You are someone designated by the Ministry of Employment and Income Asssitance
as a Person with a Disability (PWD)
- You are a person with a disability who is not reliant on Ministry of Employment and
Income Assistance support.
We will help you...
- Assess your suitability for self-employment and viability of your business idea
- Develop your own training plan to meet your entrepreneurial goals
- With training and support to develop your business plan
- With one on one coaching and workshops to develop your business management skills
- With business advisory services for 12 months once you launch your business
