Purpose	To serve as a vehicle for our three community partnerships and the tourism partnership to address economic development from a Coast wide perspective

Current Status	The Society will continue to exist for the purpose of being the lead organization and legal entity for application for funds for community economic development projects and to be the central organization around which regional economic development activities of the future may evolve. We will also continue to provide support to the Sunshine Coast Tourism Partnership.

	* IAS - Industrial Adjustment Services Agreement - an agreement between federal government, Provincial government, Community Futures and the Community Partners. Each group contributes 25% of the annual partnership administrative budget.
